1) made my own progammer 2) on bread board

The kitchen table versions of the Arghmel non-UART ISP (almost) always result in a post here.

If you havwe to use the Arghmel "SPI ISP" buy the Arghmel 'cable' ($25), it seems to be the only thing that works for this type of ISP.

BTW the Arghmel "SPI ISP" really is not ISP since it requires "special equipment" (the 'cable') and thus you can not just tell the customer to do a ISP with a file you e-mail to him.
