Hello all,
I am using P89V51RD2FN from nxp semiconductors. After getting programmed initially now it doesn't get programmed nor the programmed code is running. In flash magic(v4.24.1304),when I try to program it,it says "Reset the device into isp mode now",inspite of resetting it externally it doesn't go further. I have checked my serial cable for loop back test to be working.My programming baud rate is 9600bps(tried with even less).EA pin is held to Vcc.My RS232 circuit is also functioning. Neither there was problem with erasing whole flash of the micro,not a wrong device was selelcted.. Is there any simple method to check the crystal(without oscilloscope)?How can be RXD & TXD pins of micro be verified to be working well? What needs to be checked in these situations?
