Hi John,
L297 is a motor controller that requires /CLOCK, direction, etc signals. How do you generate those signals? May be, if you do so with a uC, it is not fast enought, or your software has some problem. For 800rpm, with your 200 steps/turn motor, you need a /CLOCK frequency of aprox. 2.5KHz, deppending of selected MODE. So, please tell us processor, clock frequency, and post code. DC |
