Stepper motors aren't known for their high speed. I'm assuming that the motor stalls when you try to step it faster than 300rpm - in which case you need a better drive circuit. There's a wealth of information on driving stepper motors on the web - just do a Google and you'll find more than enough info.
Basically you need to force more current into the motor - this means more volts then you need to regulate the current so the motor does go up in smoke. |
