#159238 - Availability of 85C02 or equivalent in the UK |
Hello everyone, I'm pleased to join the site. A long time ago I purchased Jan Axelson's "The Microcontroller Idea Book." You can guess what happened next, I read it but didn't build anything.
I'd like to change that but, (here's the sob story). I don't have enough money for a development board. So I'd like to build my own very very basic board as described in the book. I'm assuming the 85C02 went out of production long ago. Or did it? Basically, what chip would you recommend I use and where can I get it? I have looked at the chips page. Which are still in production and what distributors are available. It would really help if they were UK based but, I'd say that's wishing for a bit to much. Thanks guys. |
