Hi again Dan.
I wouldn't worry too much about stuff being ' out of date ', there is still plenty of so called old technology out there in the real world and still being used in new products. The stuff I will send you should give you a good practical grounding in using this type of micro-controller, and just for the hell of it I am going to send you a AT89S52 chip as well, should work on the same board in place of the 80C32 ( same family, same pinout, just faster and some extra stuff in it ). By the way, the basic 80C32 is still available to buy from UK suppliers so it must still have a usefullness somewhere. All you need to do is get stuck in and enjoy yourself. Jeff. |
