#159254 - The Microcontroller Idea Book
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Hello everyone, I'm pleased to join the site. A long time ago I purchased Jan Axelson's "The Microcontroller Idea Book."

It seems that the first few chapters are available online:

http://www.lvr.com/files/mibb52.pdf
http://www.lvr.com/files/mibch1.pdf
http://www.lvr.com/files/mibch2.pdf
http://www.lvr.com/files/mibch3.pdf

There is also a list of known errors:

One thing to note: do remember that this, as you said, is a book from a very (in microcontroller terms) long time ago.

Therefore, the principles in it should be fine, but current practice has moved on a long way!

See: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=159118

You might find it easier to start out with a "current" (sic) book...
