I'am fighting with the same problem. I have the AT89S8252 Flash-Board from the "Elektor Verlag". I loaded the Program flash1.asm using the tool TASMedit.exe. Now I'am trying to load the program test1.asm without any success. My opinion is, that the tool is not working propably. Perhaps the problem is that the PC uses the RS232 interfase which is an asychronous interface and the target uses the SPI interface which is an synchronous interface. After all I'am going to try out a diffrent tool. I founf it under www.mikrocontroller.com. The problem is, that this tool uses on the PC side the parallel interface and wants to connect dirctly to the pins of the SPI Pins of the AT89S8252. But on the Flash-Board the SPI Pin MISO is connected to a MAX232 device. Well I'am working on this problem. Let me Know if You have any solution.
