#18250 - RE: serial communication |
I have made a HOME alarm system with the 8052AH-BAsic and a
8032 micro. With a GUI made in VB5 or VB6, i want to update some configurations, like code key, sensors ON/OFF, etc. All this without using a TERMINAL Like (terminal.exe from WIN 3.11) programm. Q: How can I realize the next actions? The GUI in VB5 or VB6 for USER define some configurations in the application written in 8052AH-Basic and serial communication directly from the VB5/6 GUI programm to the 8052 (8032). The next problems appears: Need to send the keys; CTRL + C for stopping application programm. After configurate the application programm with the GUI the VB5/6 has written a new configuration file with the new basic variables lines. Need to upload (this) new configuration basic lines to the 8052 micro. Need to send the keys; RUN for starting application programm. All this don't work without the TERMINAL programm. All sollutions are welcome! Thanks, Haije Bekkema. Holland. |
