#8485 - RE: serial communication |
I used TELIX for years until it became pay-for. I decided to buy a copy for the lab but I haven't needed it. One of our programmers wrote a combination serial FLASH programmer and serial communications monitor for working with our 8051 and its done everything we need.
TELIX's SALT langage (C-Like) was great for writing scripts to a micro target or to a emulator. At Tandy, my TELIX program had scripts to handle all the awkward control strings in my TMS-700 series in-circuit emulator - it was great to use. aka j |
