#8450 - serial communication |
Myself and my working partner are having problems with configuring an 8051 for serial port data transmission. We have tried some code to initialise the serial port and have then tried to write characters to it. We are using Hyper Terminal to see if the data has been sent through but nothing shows up. Perhaps we are doing it right but Hyper Terminal does not show the data recieved. Any help or code that will definitely work would help us a lot. Can anyone recommend a way eg. software program we could use to let us know the data is being sent through ok.
Thanking you in advance, Mark Moran & Michael Morris |
