#18520 - RE: @rusta how we do this .... |
Hi!
1. These RF ICs have to be packaged into something like a credit card which the user can carry around. Is there any supplier who provides such ready- made cards? Yes, i.e. I have been using SOKYMAT products 2.Will RF interference affect the performance of my 8051 or vice versa? Made it and play with. You have to make very good layout, maybe you should place your reader (detector) inside of metal box. It is difficult to answer you. But notice, that you must to separate uC clock (which is usually at TTL level) and very, very small signal from antenna. Very important is filtering of power supply. 3. Has anybody done this earlier?(integrating RFID with 8051 in a small double sided PCB) Yes, I have done it with small AT89C2051. My friend has done it with PIC micro. I think it is not the problem (layout size is about 45 x 25 mm). I wish you good luck! Jacek |
