#19307 - RE: Burning uv-eprom |
Ting, that's EE-Tools. I would invite you to read the review here at 8052.com about the RomMax EPROM programmer. I have the exact same problem with a RomMax I bought once upon a time.
I personally think it's a miracle (or a curse) that EE-Tools is still around. Their products conflict with network cards, require special software to work on "fast" machines (i.e. Pentiums!), and their software still seems to be a DOS app. And they have told both me and another 8052.com reader tha they are not going to "spend anymore time" on low-end models like the RomMax and the AllMax. It seems to me that if they're not going to support the hardware, they should stop selling it. All in all, I'd recommend returning your AllMax for a refund and getting a programmer from a reputable provider. Craig Steiner |
