A comment on prom programming on newer, faster PCs: I too use a Needhams EMP20, and Needhams has a setup screen to modify some timing parameters to accomodate my new system (I went from 90MHz Win95 to 600MHz Win2K, without any Needhams problems). I suspect it's possible for other programmers to have similar timing adjustments that need to be made when we upgrade our hardware. |
