#21148 - RE: Very high speed 8052 |
Ken,
1GHz 8051 would be something to behold however i think you have to analyze the task and ask why do i need an 8051 architecture to execute at this rate vs. alternative processor models. What is it i am trying to do? If i could wish for a faster execution rate i would prefer more parallelism, multiple instructions per clock so i could run ... slower. I run some of my processors @ 1.8432MHz to achieve low power consumption. I have run some a @32.768KHz in the past. regards, p |
