#21386 - RE: I2C simulator |

The only 'bit bang' USB I know of as commonly used is to drive a small EEPROM. Anyone in his/her right mind will use one of the canned IIC solutions (e.g. Philips offer several, both "c" and assembler) and should thus not need to simulate. Erik OK guys, for the last several years I have had to field do you simulate I2C or CAN peripheral questions. Of course if bit-banged we can support it (we can watch the pins move) but we cannot confirm the operation of either of these peripherals in the simulator. Now we are trying to define a peripheral simulation of I2C and you are telling us who cares. From the questions that I have fielded I would say a lot of folks care. If youare simulating your application and can simulate everything BUT your communications port are you ready to go into hardware? Bryan Whitton American Raisonance |
