Now here are some technical data:
SAA1064 works in multiplexed and in static mode.In multiplexed mode 32 segements and in static mode 16 segments.All output driver works with constant current you need no external resistor for the led. The brightness is programable in 3mA steps. (0mA,3mA,6mA,12mA,15mA,18mA,21mA) To controll the Driver via I2C is very easy. I can Post the assembler code to the Code Library. I think it is a good and simple driver chip. The greater driver chips are from Maxim, but they have very high multiplex rates. And I think the brightness is not possible as on static mode or on 1:2 multiplex rates. Any Idea..... Sascha |
