#22477 - RE: Code size of a typical 8051 application |
I've never had to use banking for my code, but my current project is running at 57K ... future additions just might require that capability.
For the most part, if the chip didn't support banking, it would be "so what?" Most of the time I'm more interested in other features such as internal eeprom or extra sram. |
