#23319 - RE: different compilers, (keil & Raisonance) |

------------------------------- Hello. Sundeep, in my opinion you are right. I remember the time when I change my assembler compiler form Archimedes to Raisonance. They have really poor documents on assembler and C. You have to explore all yourself. I think if they are not going to make new manual, they should start to show the examples of programming on the net. But in this moment, if you have some problems using Raisonance RIDE, I can help you. Don't hestitate to ask. Jacek Just a note on the documentation for the Raisonance tools. My first recommendation is to get the Getting Started manual from either American Raisonance or Raisonance depending on where you are located. Second, we are in the process of getting all of the manuals rewritten. This isn't going to be a clean up of the current manuals but rather a fresh start. The linker manual which is in many respects the most complex is already finished. Next on the list is the RC51 manual, it should be started in June. The RIDE/Simulator manual will follow. On the current manuals, the information is often in the manuals but can be difficult to locate and/or understand. If you need help you can also go to the Raisonance forum located at "http://www.raisonance.com/Forum/pho...st.php?f=1". This forum is monitored by me and the various engineers in France. It is realtively new but has already proven a good source for solutions. Bryan Whitton American Raisonance |
