i have a very strange problem related to noise, you see i am trying to control the operation of a 3-phase motor ,i have taken precautions of isolating the 5V microcontroller power supply (along with it's ground)via optocouplers ,however this does not seem to help in any way ,cause whenever the motor switches ON or OFF the controller litreally goes into a hang state doing nothing and remains so until a reset is pressed.i have tried shielding the supply wires, decoupling signals via a 0.1microfarad disc cap however this proved to be disastrous cause the noise still remained
if anyone has any kind of suggestion,remedy kindly pass it on (for your information I am using AT89C5).
