thanks for all your suggestions i kept the motor approximately 12ft away from the controller PCB and put the PCB in a metallic enclosure ,it seems to be working although ocassionally i do get some crazy o/p but on the whole i'd say yahoo!
& yes EDGAR i was using the same wire (put down to earth)as you suggested
thank-you once again ,i'd like to be in touch with all of you for your inspiring ideas
