#26575 - How to connect a single LED |
Hi Friends,
Yesterday i tried to connect an LED (single 1.5v) to pin 1-5 of Port 1. Interestingly, when it is not connected, the o/p voltage of the pins (of P89C51RD2) is 4.98v and when I connect the LED, the voltage varies from 1.75v to 3.8v also the LED glows very dimly. What is the problem. The philips chip is a BRAND NEW one (Not yet programmed) and so it should have a default value of 1 on the ports. Please help. Warm Regards, Sriharsha |
