Yesterday i tried to connect an LED (single 1.5v) to pin 1-5 of Port 1.
Form P1.1 to P1.5? You mean anode on P1.1 and cathode on P1.5 or vice versa? Or did you try on all those Port Pins one by one? Generally, ICs can sink more current than sourcing. If you have to connect an LED directly to a port pin, connect LED cathode to port, and anode to Vcc through suitable resistor. You did not mention the resistor value and even it was used at all or not. BTW: what do you want to do by connecting LED to an un-programmed chip? IA |
