when you use pin numbers rather than signal names, it would be helpful if you indicated the package (PLCC, DIP etc). Appnote 461 should give you all you need. I do not recall if 461 is the 66x or the Rx2, but they are identical.
One more thing, data sheet and appnote state that P2.7 must be high (usually ok, I pull them up with 10k and ensure that they are not used as inputs) however, it p2.7 and p2.6 that must be kept high.
