#27813 - RE: P89C51RD2HBP's ISP does not work.... |
hi
check these points: 1.Reset(9) & PSEN(29) pins are LOW 2.EA/Vpp(31), p2.7(28) & ALE/PROG(30) pins are HIGH(in my experience, better not to make connections to P2.7) 3.crystal is working 4.no ripples in 5vdc And in 232 ic: 1. cap. is connected to 6th pin as indicated in my previous message 2. +10V at pin 2 and -10V at pin 6 of 232 level converter chip and in flash magic: 1. make sure the com port selection is correct. 2. baud rate=9600 3. x-tal freq. is exact value(eg.11.059200) 4. proper device selection 5. select blocks 0 and 1 for erasing 6. file path is correct 7. select the VERIFY option 8. "DON'T SELECT SECURITY BITS" still it is not willing to work, check the BOOT VECTOR and STATUS BYTE of THE ic in a parallel programmer if it is found to be FC and 00 resp. then try this: remove the ic from socket, short the Rx and Tx pins in the (controller)ic base(or pins 11 and 12 of 232 ic).go to dos mode ,check that ur com port is sending and receiving data if port is healthy, then CHECK UR CIRCUIT ONCE AGAIN better luck saji |
