hello ijaz thanks for the valuable information, ahhh...okey the DTMF pin on TEA chip is used for that purpose, so my first concern is resolved thanks.

but DTMF is not a digital pin which accepts data in 1 or 0 form, my microcontroller has for example no to dial in some digital form. obviously my question will be how to convert this data in microcontroller which is in the digital form to some form which will be acceptable for DTMF pin. that will solve i think how to dial a number.

i will try to see how to get the indication that the B-Party has received the call and will ask other question if i have any in this regard.


thanks BABAR for the comments. well yes i want my 8051 to dial a number automatically when it detects some event. so i want to replace the fingers with microcontroller. yes i will try to digest the data sheet thanks for the assistance for the 8880 chip. i will ask my concerns about this chip over here.
