i think you will need a modem in this case which i was to avoid in my application. its a application i am tying to build to learn the technology so i will be really glad to see that i am able to design some thing like modem. okey now here is my progress

- i understand DTMF
- i understnad how to dial a number with dialer chips
- i understand how to detect a DTMF with dialer chip


what i am still looking for is

- how to detect that my call has been received by the B-Party
- any machenisim how to transfer voice data to the telephone line if the connection is established. ISD chip is one solution to store the message but i don't know the interface between ISD and telephone line. i will appriciate any suggestion regarding how to implement this.



i will appriciate any help in these areas
