I have been trying this for weeks and is thinking of giving up. I am trying for the last time. Have anyone succeeded in initailising the Hitachi HD44780U (LCD-2) LCD before using 4 bit and reading the busy flag? If yes, please help you by shwoing me just the part of ther source code that does the initialisation, reading of busy flag and sending instructions. I also like to see how you send data to the LCD. Any kind soul can help me on this as I am sick and tired of this. Thanks in advance
