I must admit, that I never used the LCD in 4-bit mode. But I have seen on the data sheet, that during initialization always fixed delay times must be used. Thus my assumption, that no way exist to deal with the busy flag during initialization. And your question was about reading the busy flag during initialization. And the answer should still be: Not possible. Peter |
