Thanks for your suggestions..
I am also trying to get that cursor location by the sequence which is used to read the busy flag.
the driver is HD44780 only.
but in that manual mentioned that only 7bits ie,0-6bits will give the address counter...
what about the 8th bit.
and from where i have to read the address.
if anybody have the steps sequence please help me..
