Hi Matt,
today SRAM up to 512kBytes easy available (e.g. HM628512). DRAM can not be direct connected to the 8051. You need always a DRAM controller and address multiplexers. How about using micro controllers with Z80 core ? The Z80 support DRAM refresh, so I think the micro controllers too. Also, if data must be altered not often, how about Atmels serial data flash (up to 4MByte) ? Regards, Peter |
