I wasnt trying to suggest that they were bad tools,it just seems to me that if they want you to buy them then the software vendors should make sure that the demo at least works correctly and you don't have to rewrite thier demo code to get it to compile.
And the demo that crashed didnt crash after working for a bit,it just refused to start at all,giving me a general protection fault.Its these little things that somehow dont fill one with the desire to rush out and buy the full working version,which not only crashes but makes your hard disk burst into flames as well.
