Which device are you using? If you want to use the internal oscillator for baudrate generation, you must use one of the '2%' oscillator parts. These have a 24.5MHz frequency with which you can set the baudrate to either 9570 or 9630; close enough not to cause any problems. Use the Configuration Wizard for the timer settings.
