PHILIPS CAN NOT DELIVER:

Until 3:30 the afternoon, I was a Philips Microprocessor fan. I got a call informing me that all FLASH and OTP micros were going to *** 35 WEEKS *** lead times due to increased demand.
Has anyone else heard this? We checked online pricing and noticed that most had raised prices about since we did a parts list check two weeks ago.

I think I need a new microprocessor. Before I'd wait 35 weeks on a chip, I'd redesign my product with someone else's micro. :-)
