I looked at temic.com but didn't find much microprocessor stuff. Can you give me a better URL? I'm looking for a replacement for a Philips Rx+ or Rx2. I'm encouraged by your luck with the Temic RD2 replacement and will focus there. Gosh, I was viewing a Motorola microcontroller selection chart. :-)

RABBIT 2000

I've seen the Rabbit 2000 advertisements in all the technical journals but never looked to closely because I didn't want to get trapped using a new microprocessor with undiscovered problems.

Apparently it is a 64180/Z180 type micro and while that reminds me of the good old days, the Rabbit 2000 appears to be more of a microprocessor than a true microcontroller. Too many parallel traces for my application.
