First, I wanted to mention that two posts regarding the sale of a Keil compiler and Ceibo unit were deleted because they were posted with a "handle," not a real name as required by the forum guidelines.

Second, I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on the subject of offering used 8052-related equipment for sale on this forum. It's not really what the forum was meant for, but at the same time I must admit that if you want to move some old 8052 equipment where else would you announce that? You could post it on eBay, but how many of us look on eBay for 8052 development tools? I am undecided on this issue and for that reason would very much like to hear what everyone has to say on the topic.

Finally, regarding the resale of Keil compilers, let me answer the question that Erik asked regarding support: No, if you buy a "used" Keil compiler it will not be supported by Keil. Just last week someone asked me that question and I asked Keil so I thought I'd pass that information along. In general, be weary about buying *any* used software. At best it will be unsupported and at worst it may be against the licensing agreement (for example, Microsoft).
