I totally oppose using this forum as an aid to sellers. The question is can it be an aid to the buyer?.
If I have an old ICE that I'm willing to almost give away (I do not) where would a limited budget '51 hobbyist find out that I had it.
I do thus, But only if if Craig and Steve somehow can make an automatic filter, They should not be made shop sweepers (registered users only seems reasonable, Craig seems to have a hold on REAL identities of those).

To keep the system honest you can't allow ANYONE to have special advantage over another An "advantage" for registerd users is both fair and reasonable. After all these users have, by registering, indicated that they will be responsible for their participation. Any non-registered participant can hide behind whatever wall is convenient.
