#38344 - RE: it works !
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Erik,

Ok It's working well now. I've inserted a 1.5K resistor between my RST pin and the RESET circuitry. The Watchdog occurs correctly now.

I'm going to add the emergency code with a test on a pin help to ground.

The supervisor isn't yet included in my development board. I've baught a MAX690 but it's still not implemented. I will do it this week.

I will add my code for IAP in my website. I would also add your two documents describing this and I would name the author, i.e. you !
Would you agree ?

Just a question on Watchdog : this is a 14 bit register which is incremented every clock cycle. So this should mean for a 18.432 MHz crystal : 1/18432000*2^14 = 889 microseconds before it occurs. Is it right
If yes, how is it usually reloaded ? As I'm using a real time sequencer, the minimum sequence is 10ms. Not useful in this case !
Do you use a timer interrupt to reload the watchdog ?

Thanks
Stephane
