We used the 8052 with basic for many years, it was fast enough and sophisticated enough for what we wanted to do then, but as my code got more interrupt driven, and sampling requirements became faster it had to go, and we use compiled Pascal now.
It was always nice though, that in the field, one could write debugging code and test code on the fly. That I miss. Steve |
