Hello Paul,
a typical 8052 system has a 27C256 EPROM (32K x 8, DIL28 package) and a 43256 or 62256 SRAM (32K x 8, DIL28 package). If you have to download code through the serial port down to your micro, an addititional SRAM is needed. As you might know, a 74HC573 Latch is needed to get the lower adress bytes... Don't forget a reset controller! (Google for DS1810 / DS1812, maybee you like them.) Mike |
