I would look to Lattice. They make a broad range of smaller to larger re-programmable FPGAs with JTAG interfaces for programming. Also if you are a designer you can often talk the local Lattice app engineer or sales engineer into registering you for a free tool set. (I know they bent over backwards to get me tools when I designed a 160 and a 320 logic cell gate arrays into one product).
There are HDL, Schematic Capture, and Abel like ways to use the Lattice tool set(s). Michael Karas |
