#41323 - RE: FPGA, Mahmood,
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi,

Yeh, sound fun, but a life time pursuit, isnt's it.

Why getting our head into what has already been provided in form of chips & micros. Libraries are already available, tools are out there in plenty.

There must be more in it than only devising own micros with fpgas.

The stuff at Xilinx is so enormous that its confusing. I don't think fpgas are as straight forward as micros.

Can you elaborate the steps involved in making an applications with FPGAs.

Let's start with it, but I fear that this forum isn't a place for it. We will have to find a new forum for FPGAs. Kindly join hands with me. :)
