There is one problem while using sofware counting: up time of the pulse. It might be as long as 10ms, or it sometimes it is possible as low as 50us, there is no time to use polling methods, program has enough lines to kill time elsewhere. Counter is the only way to do this thing. Thanks any way, nice thought.

My english is badly under construction, and I propably write something that doesn't make sense. This was one of those times. I don't want to use other prosessors this time, I would need to get them from somewhere, but I do have plenty of other components here at home that I can use WITH existing AT89S8252.
