Build the basic circuit with the 89c51RD2 + 12Mhz crystal + MAX232 + Reset circuit
NO with the 89c51RD2 + 11.0952Mhz crystal + MAX232 + Reset circuit ( if you can provide a Reset controller - its really good. Else you can manage with a 10MFD capacitor to start with) and a GOOD regulated 5V power supply that can support upto 1 Amp comfortably. The errta for the chip spells out "if you do not use supervisor, you may lose the boot vector". Erik |
