Steve is correct. It only requires the flag bit be set.
I found this out by talking to Philips Microcontroller gurus when I was designing my background threaded tasker. I needed to schedule interrupt tasks at two basic priorities without wasting time setting up a timer to generate a single-tick interrupt (as it was initially implemented). It saved a few bytes of background code which in realtime programming, is always important. -Jay C. Box |
