I've looked at the data sheet, of course a real engineer doesn't read those, he only looks at them! ;) I'm sorry, the information you state is correct. I was mixing up my 1's and 0's. If you SET the port pin, you may not always read back a 1, but CLR the port pin and you'll read back a 0 under normal conditions. Incognito, I guess a micro is like the world. The world's not flat so you're not gonna just fall off once you get to the end! But, what if your eprom doesn't cover you right through to address 0xFFFF ? I suppose a good idea might be to hard wire invalid memory decoding to an interrupt pin. I'm gonna start a new thread regarding this. Josh. |
