Steve & Jay are real smart guys... I'd listen to them. If you still want to perform this interrupt via hardware, then only way of doing so would be to connect another IO pin to the INT pin. Setting the Latch outputs of P3.3 does not affect how that same pin samples the voltage as an input. Same applies to all port pins. I can't see any practical reason other than if you wanted to disable this software interrupt with a switch or something... even then so, there are other ways of connecting a switch!?! Just do it Steve's way. :) Josh. |
