The X2 I mentioned is the RB2- RC2 without ISP and PCA but it cost 1/4 as much.
I cannot use ISP for this project, and I don't have the time or resources to build my own programmer from scratch The method Jay describes only require a chip such as MAX232 and a couple of capacitors and a D9 plus the necessary means of connecting to Txd and Rxd. Erik |
