------------------------------- I have an AMD 8751H microcontroller that I wish to program. I have the microcontroller in a 40 pin package. I was looking at the intel documentation for the MCS-51 family and saw that the device must be programmed using the "Quick-Pulse" programming method. Are you sure about that? Quick-Pulse programming is normally used for the CMOS versions (87C51). Your chip may be even older than the 87C51, and if it is you will need "slow-pulse" programming and a Vpp of 21V... I would get a datasheet for the chip if possible. If not I have some programming specs for the Intel 8751 I could post here. Also, what is the circular glass on top of the microcontroller for? Is that for erasing the memory with UV light? Yes As a note, I bought the 8751H off E-bay, so I do not know what is currently in the flash. Not much, as it doesn't have any flash memory ;-) Best regards, Mikkel C. Simonsen |
