Digikey in the USA, here in Minnesota ;-) , handles the Winbond VoiceCorder products and has some of the part numbers in stock.

If you are looking for a bit more general purpose type of microcontroller you should really take a look at the Cygnal line. www.cygnal.com. They have a broad range of VERY cool parts. You can find parts with your I/O needs, onboard FLASH, and onboard XRAM. There are other great advantages to Cygal that I won't go into here (do a forum search for "Karas Cygnal" and you will see all the stuff I've said before). Cygnal parts and development boards are available also from DigiKey as well as direct from the Cygnal web site.
